The LRAD (long-distance irradiation type directional speaker) system was 

originally developed for military use. We have now made it possible to lease the

same technology for disaster prevention or search-and-rescue use.

The unit is equipped with a dedicated power supply which weighs 23 kg:

this gives the sound irradiation system a theoretical continuous operating time of 4 hours.

We have also improved the speaker equipment, itself being of heavy construction, 

so that it can be easily moved as originally intended.
